This moisturizer has been a total game changer for me and my baby. I have been searching and searching for a gentle all-natural organic moisturizer and diaper rash cream for my baby and came across Sunborn. I love that it’s completely natural with no added fragrances or chemicals. It feels so safe to use, especially for my newborn. Even the baby moisturizers and diaper cream I looked at have synthetics and seed oils in them but this has been perfect. My baby’s skin is so soft and smooth after using it!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this tallow lotion and I'm pleasant surprised. It feels very natural with a mild scent. Initially it feels a little greasy but leaves my skin very moisturized. It's too heavy for my face but works great for my neck and hands.

Very smooth going onto the skin. This literally feels like applying buttercream icing to your body but I’m not mad about it. The “hint of vanilla” scent is quite true so there is almost no vanilla scent whatsoever which was a little disappointing. I was hoping to find the vanilla at least a little. Moisturizes very heavily so I would avoid the face and neck area or you will feel big greasy all day. Works lovely on the hands and feet!

I kept hearing people talking about beef tallow balms, so I wanted to see what all the rage was for myself. I was considered it would smell bad and also clog my pores, but luckily none of these concerns were true. I opted for the Vanilla scent, and the closest thing to describe the smell is like a hint of cake icing, but not overwhelming at all. After applying it on my hands, my concerns about the scent were all but gone.

Shortly after receiving it the mail, i unfortunately was dealing with sunburn on my ears. Luckily for me, a quick google search on the benefits of beef tallow mentioned that it was great for sunburn.

I didn't expect much, but I tried it anyway to see if it would provided relief & to my surprise, it did! The consistency is like any body cream or lotion, which made it very easy to apply and after a few minutes, my ears were no longer suffering from that dreaded itch. I've since applied some to my hands, arms, and feet to see how well my skin reacts to it, but even if it remains just an effective sunburn treatment, then count me pleasantly surprised.

This is a decent balm, I got it for my feet and it works well. I like the fragrance of the tallow. It is nice and smooth. It absorbs well into my skin and I have noticed that my feet feel a lit softer and smoother.

I’m impressed with the care put into selecting the very best organic ingredients for this 100% natural product. I love that it’s handmade in small batches in New Hampshire from grass fed beef tallow and the only other ingredients are organic beeswax and lavender. No synthetics of any kind and it even comes in a glass jar. The lavender fragrance is very light, and there’s no unpleasant scent that I typically associate with rendered fat. Essentially, the product has no scent. The cream feels silky and luxurious and is wonderfully moisturizing and non irritating to my sensitive skin. It doesn’t make my face break out. A little goes a long way and I love that they don’t leave you guessing like with so many products, and suggest using a pea sized amount. This product is so gentle and natural that I feel comfortable using this on my children.

This is honestly the best beef tallow cream I have tried - and I'm not just saying that. I've had some that smell too much like animal byproduct, some with overpowering perfumes, some that aren't even creamy. This particular bottle is so soft and fluffy, like it was really whipped. Imagine the consistency of a buttery whip cream, but thicker. The smell is pleasant like a candle. I feel like, sure, there are cheaper alternatives, but if you can spare some extra change, why not go ahead and get something good. This bottle will probably last me a while. It's so moisturizing when I apply it to my face and you only need a little bit. It definitely locks in my skin like a petroleum jelly would. I definitely recommend this one.

I don't really smell the lavender, but the smell of the product doesn't leave a lingering smell and will be absorbed by your own perfume/cologne.

This is an amazing moisturizer made of 100% grass-fed beef tallow, which is in keeping with a major trend now to go back to truly natural products. Importantly, this tallow balm is exactly what it says, and when you open the jar it actually looks like whipped butter. The product itself is highly moisturizing without feeling greasy, and very little product is needed to be effective. As for the scent, this balm has a hint of vanilla, but to me it smells practically fragrance free, which makes this a great unisex moisturizer. Lastly, this is handmade in the USA by a small family business, which I fully support.

This whipped tallow balm is great for really dry skin. The faint vanilla scent is not overwhelming and hides a bit of the tallow smell. I like to use it on my dry hands. It is better than those fancy Shea Butter creams I've bought. It is surprisingly creamy and spreads easily on the skin. Since it doesn't have any additives/chemicals it is good for folks with sensitivities or who just want cleaner skin products. It can be used as a body cream -especially on dry feet! I am loving this product. It works so well and feels luxurious on the skin. The only issue is that it can take a bit of time to absorb so when I place it on my hands I need to wait a while or items I touch may get a greasy surface.

You don’t need to apply too much of the cream and small amount of it goes a long way and you can easily massage it on the skin. It makes your skin feel so moisturized and soft and stays like that for days.

My Sunborn Organics Whipped Tallow Balm arrived in a sealed cardboard box that contained a note from the seller. The jar of product itself was seated in birds'-nest like-material that made for a cute presentation. The label on the jar shows information about the product, which is made in New Hampshire.

This is a very nice, very hydrating cream. The cream is quite thick but not so thick as the usual tallow balm. Still, a similar amount, meaning the tiniest amount, is needed for total hydration. As far as the scent, I smell neither lavender nor tallow balm. I suppose it is somewhere in-between. After application, I would say there is no discernable fragrance. My skin felt very soft and moist, and that lasted through handwashing. While the size of the jar seems small for the price, so little product is needed to produce this result that it evens out when you consider how much more product is needed when skin creams less dense are used. Out of habit, I applied too much product even after using what I thought was a very small amount of this cream. I ended up spreading it over more area than anticipated. Whatever you think is an appropriately small amount is likely too much. Tallow balm, and in this case whipped tallow balm, is a different animal from the usual skin creams. Its density is not anticipated unless one is very familiar with using a tallow balm product. I will add that this one is quite wonderful, too. While outside, I was not chased by a pack of dogs looking for a steak dinner, so even sensitive noses did not pick up on my use of tallow balm.

I am happy to recommend Sunborn Organics Whipped Tallow Balm to anyone looking for the ultimate in natural moisturizing products. It is about as pure as you can get, it lasts, and there are no additives to interfere with the goal of the product, which is simply to hydrate the skin.
